If you have been charged with the offence of Stunt Driving, HTA s. 172 (1), thenyou have been accused of committing one of the most serious charges set out in the Highway Traffic Act.
The penalties upon conviction for Stunt Driving include:
- Immediate seizure of your vehicle by the police
- An immediate seven day license suspension
- A minimum fine of $2,000.00 to a maximum of $10,000.00
- A suspension of your driver’s license to a maximum of two years on a first offence, or up to ten years on a second offence
- A jail sentence up to a maximum of six months
